The role of neuroticism on psychological and physiological stress responses
Article Abstract:
The influence of personality on stressor appraisals and emotional, physiological and behavioral responses to psychosocial stress is examined. Neuroticism predicted threat appraisals and both were related to negative emotional experience and poor task performance.

Dissidence from within: examining the effects of intergroup context on group member's reactions to attitudinal opposition
Article Abstract:
The successful achievement of a group's goals frequently requires a broad base of support among members. It is argued that reactions to dissension as an issue is important to the group's status could change as a function of contextual goals.

Coping with a threatened group identity: Psychosocial and neuroendocrine responses
Article Abstract:
Members' reactions to a threat were evaluated within a stress and coping framework. Regressions indicated that problem-focused coping was related to appraising the identity threat as controllable and with a greater sense of optimism.
