"Uncle Long Legs' Letter Box": a letter counseling service for children in Hong Kong

This article evaluates a letter counseling service in Hong Kong aimed at helping children aged 10-14 years cope with their personal feelings and problems. Topics include how the program is promoted, the psychological needs of children in Hong Kong, and how letter counseling compares to face-to-face counseling.

A study of 15 lesbian couples with children shows that children will form attachments to both women, but will form a primary bond to just one mother.
