When increased confidence yields increased thought: a confidence-matching hypothesis
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to test the hypothesis that increased confidence generated increased thought processing though traditional thinking stated otherwise. The findings demonstrate that confidence can both increase and decrease processing depending on message framing.
