Dips exercise the triceps, frontal deltoids and pectoral muscles, and are the perfect upper-body pushing exercise for cyclists. Dips increase shoulder and collarbone resistance in a crash. Cyclists can use dips with abdominal and lower-back exercises to balance lower and upper body development.
