A brief description on the bird, Grouse taking into consideration the two essentials that grouse need to survive winter, shelter and food is presented. While grouse prefer taking shelter under logged hardwoods and sun-tolerant trees, they prefer aspen buds and ironwood groves for food.

Jigs for trout

Article Abstract:

Fishing expert Ed Hayne has adapted traditional fly patterns for use as jigs by fitting them with lead heads. The problems he experienced with surface currents pulling the nymphs out from his desired depth plane led Hayne to experiment by using jigs for trout fishing.
