Dive computers: the new generation
Article Abstract:
A dozen dive computers were subjected to 13 different dives to evaluate their reliability and performance. The different dive profiles were undertaken because each computer varied in the way it handled data and some computers were more liberal while others more restrictive in terms of risk allowance for divers. Among the more worthy models that can be considered good value for money are the Aeris Atmos Sport, the Mares Tutor and the Oceanic Data Plus2.

Unfit for diving
Article Abstract:
Divers should perform an honest self-evaluation regarding their mental and physical fitness before any diving activity. This includes assessing disabilities and the demands of a particular diving activity. Diving partners should also need to inspect whether their partner's gears are correct and properly working. A real life experience demonstrating the importance of these diving safety techniques is described.
