Asthma medication in Finnish olympic athletes: no signs of inhaled beta 2-agonist overuse
Article Abstract:
Finnish young adults supported by national Olympic committee filled questionnaires relating to asthma, allergies, medication and smoking habits. Results indicate that the frequency of antiasthmatic medication is lower than the occurrence of physician-diagnosed asthma among Finnish olympic athletes.

Prevalence of allergy and asthma symptoms in recreational roadrunners
Article Abstract:
The prevalence of allergy and asthma symptoms in recreational roadrunners is studied. The findings indicate that the recreational roadrunner is more likely to report symptoms of allergy and/or asthma but less likely to have prescription medication than the Olympic athlete.
