Atlantic 42, a large catamaran from designer Chris White, has just been launched. It is recognized for its fine features including a large pilothouse with dinette area and a cruising range of about 300 miles at 8 knots. The boat has a midship cockpit with the mast and halyards at the forward end.

A man onboard the sailboat, 'Wooton' describes the fun and excitement of being in the longest inland water race in the world. Starting at Monroe Harbor, Chicago, IL, with 258 sailboats competing, they sailed on Lake Michigan to Mackinac Island. The 'Wooton' finished ninth in its class.
