Axo Cycling America, the U.S. imprint of the famous Italian cycling equipment manufacturer, designs, develops and tests its cycling accessories in America, while the products are manufactured overseas. Axo shoes and gloves are well-established among cyclists for their ergnomic design, performance and durability. Axo's product line for 2001 is presented.

Kharisma bicycle racing tires from Kenda are examined. Kenda uses a propriety tread technology known as L3R, representing Low-Rolling Resistance Rubber, which gives the Kharisma superior traction. The $70-per-pair Kharisma is heavier than some racing tire models, but performance does not suffer for it.
