The gift of a bow

Dakota Sioux Jim Welch, 37, enjoyed bowmaking as a child but became serious about his interest in 1986. The venture took a great deal of study, as the art has been largely lost. He is now a full-time bowmaker, creating custom Toh-Kah bows.
