A comprehensive first look at all the new models set to make their debuts in the boat shows scheduled for autumn 2003 is presented, from daysailers to high-performance cruisers and trimarans. Among the boats discussed is the Hunter 216, a thermoformed plastic daysailer from Hunter Marine, and the Dufour 34, a stylish performance cruiser designed by Umberto Felci.

Roger Hewson started Sabre Yachts in 1970 to a build 28-footer fiberglass boat using production-line techniques. Their boats are hand-made using the traditional American craftsmanship of skilled workers and subcontractors.
