Article Abstract:
Research indicates that pertussis, or whooping cough, often goes undiagnosed in adults. Pertussis is rarely fatal in adults, but they can easily transmit the disease to infants who can die from the illness. Adults with coughs that last longer than 2 weeks are advised to ask their doctors to rule out pertussis.

Anger-oplasty: don't let hostility gum up heart surgery
Article Abstract:
Research indicates that patients who rated high on a measure of verbal hostility were 2 and 1/2 times more likely to need a 2nd or 3rd angioplasty than patients who scored low. The finding suggests that artery reclogging may be prevented if patients could be trained to be less hostile.
