Bounce nymphing: Fish the bottom third of the water column more effectively with this deep-nymphing rig
Article Abstract:
An uncommon method to catch deep-feeding trout called bounce nymphing is discussed, which keeps the flies suspended close to bottom, at nose level to the trout, much longer than regular nymphing. Bounce nymphing that works best on gravel-bottom rivers with moderate or fast currents is especially good for selective fish in heavily fished waters.

Nymphing without indicators
Article Abstract:
Strike indicators can be difficult to cast, and they resist wind. Broken-water trout fishing may be easier without indicators; fishers should instead develop the skill of seeing down into the water.
