Bypassing a raw-water pump
Article Abstract:
Experiences of dealing with the failure of the raw-water pump in a boat's diesel engine are presented. It was possible to use pieces of hosing found on the boat to make connections that allowed the crew to form a complete circuit from the raw-water strainer to the bilgepump and back to the broken raw-water pump on the engine.
