Carving the toothbrush
Article Abstract:
The UK suffers from a dearth of ski slopes so British skiing enthusiasts have to make do with hills covered with plastic. Dry skiing, or toothbrush skiing as it is commonly called, is actually similar to normal skiing but slightly more bruising. The experience of a skier who participated in the British Dry Ski Slopes Championships is presented.

An American skier determines to go to Iran when he heard of the excellent ski resorts there. He finally obtains a visa. He was one of only two US groups to visit Iran since the revolution. He describes the excellent resorts, the social conditions, and his impressions of the people he met.
