Making and using emergency spokes
Article Abstract:
Cyclists can make easy-to-install emergency spokes using spokes and nipples, a diagonal cutter and spoke wrench. The spokes should be 6 mm longer than those in the rear wheel. The new spokes can be attached to the hub holes without removing the wheel.
