Modelling age and secular differences in fitness between basketball players
Article Abstract:
The trends in anthropometric and fitness test scores related to recruitment age and recruitment year in junior basketball players are studied. The analysis has shown an overall large effect of gender and a small, but significant effect of competitive standard and the scores with lower variability higher standards have indicated the value of fitness tests as a talent identification tool.

Mechanical and EMG responses of the vastus lateralis and changes in biochemical variables to isokinetic exercise in endurance and power athletes
Article Abstract:
Muscle fatigue in the vastus lateralis muscles is assessed in endurance and power athletes after isokinetic exercise. The assessment is based on correlations among biochemical variables, and mechanical and electromyographic (EMG) responses, and results are presented.
