Changes in the perception of action possibilities while climbing to fatigue on a climbing wall
Article Abstract:
Changes in the perception of action possibilities as a function of exertion were examined. The results support two main conclusions, first that early during task execution when fatigue was not yet present, changes in perceived maximum reaching height occurred and second there appears to be a functional fit between participants' actual action capabilities rather than their physical state of fatigue and perceived action possibilities.
