Few guidelines are provided that would help in recommissioning the diesel engine for summer sailing. Some of the guidelines that needs to be followed includes removing oily rags from air intake and exhaust, checking and tightening hoses and clamps, checking drive belts and engine-intake seacock and inspecting all electrical connections around the engine.
