Connie Douglas Reeves was the oldest member of the Cowgirl Hall of Fame and was very fond of horses. She taught horse-back riding at historic Camp Waldemar near Kerrville, Texas where she mentored and inspired nearly 30,000 students, becoming a Texas legend.
