Counter-canter for cadence

Although the counter-canter is one of the most difficult maneuvers a rider could ask a horse to do, the move accelerates the strength and balance needed for a cadenced lope as well as for advanced maneuvers like flying lead changes. An experienced horse trainer goes through the various steps involved in guiding a horse through the counter-canter.
