Does aerobic exercise decrease brain activation?
Article Abstract:
The effect of exercise on brain activation was conducted to test the validity of interpreting postexercise alpha enhancement and to provide information on the affective and cognitive effects of exercise-related EEG activity. The study showed there were higher levels of theta and alpha activity and lower levels of beta activity in the individuals participating in exercise conditions.

Cross-lagged relationships among leisure-time exercise and perceived stress in blue-collar workers
Article Abstract:
Structural equation modeling is used to examine the cross-lagged relationships between perceived stress and leisure-time exercise in blue-collar workers from a large food processing plant in the south-western U.S. Results suggest that perceptions of stress are related to reductions in exercise participation in the population.
