Effect of propionyl-L-carnitine on exercise performance in peripheral arterial diseases
Article Abstract:
Research presented suggest that a four week supplementation with propionyl-L-carnitine can increase muscle strength and exercise duration of patients with peripheral vascular disease. The oral supplementation is designed to increase muscle metabolism, thereby improving arterial blood flow to the legs that is impaired by the disease.
