Effect of treadmill and overground walking on function and attitudes in older adults
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to determine whether treadmill walking, as a mode of physical activity for older adults, was comparable with overground walking. The results indicate that treadmill walking differs from overground walking in several important ways that are of relevance to clinical exercise prescription.

Objective assessment of activity in older adults at risk for mobility disability
Article Abstract:
A study to evaluate the validity of objective measures of physical activity that had varied sophistication levels among older adults at risk for mobility disability is presented. The results found that the AE120 is a poor indicator for measuring mobility disability.
