The validity and reliability of intestinal temperature during intermittent running
Article Abstract:
Two investigations are conducted to examine the validity and reliability of intestinal temperature ([T.sub.int]) during prolonged intermittent shuttle running. The study findings suggest that the test-retest variability of [T.sub.int] is small during intermittent shuttle running and this is appropriate for use in exercise physiology.

The influence of carbohydrate and protein ingestion during recovery from prolonged exercise on subsequent endurance performance
Article Abstract:
Fatigue during physical exercise of moderate to high intensity is associated with depletion of muscle glycogen. Ingestion of both protein and carbohydrate during recovery has proved to restore exercise capacity more effectively than ingestion of carbohydrate alone.
