Creatine supplementation affects muscle creatine during energy restriction
Article Abstract:
This article examines the effects of creatine supplementation on muscle creatine levels, body composition, and energy levels in trained athletes on a restricted diet. Results indicate that supplementation increased muscle creatine phosphate concentrations and levels of work done during sprints but did not affect protein or fat loss.

Effect of creatine loading on long-term sprint exercise performance and metabolism
Article Abstract:
This article examines the effect of five days of creatine supplementation on performance during subsequent exercise sessions involving eighty minutes of repeated cycling sprints. Findings indicate that creatine supplementation increased peak power, improved intermittent sprint performance, and resulted in higher concentrations of creatine and phosphocreatine in resting muscle.

Article Abstract:
This article examines the effects of a creatine supplementation protocol on muscle glycogen supercompensation. Findings indicate that using creatine supplements for five days prior to a glycogen loading protocol results in increased glycogen loading capacity and cell volume alterations.
