Effect of resistance training on women's strength/power and occupational performances
Article Abstract:
This article examines the effects of a six month resistance training program on the strength, fitness, and occupational task performance among a sample of healthy, untrained women. Findings indicate that resistance exercise resulted in significant improvements in endurance, muscular strength, and performance on occupational tasks related to military positions.

Low-volume circuit versus high-volume periodized resistance training in women
Article Abstract:
This article investigates long-term training adaptations that are associated with low-intensity circuit training compared to periodized high-volume training among untrained women. Results show significant improvement in muscular performance using either method, with no changes in growth hormones in any group.
