Effects of anabolic steroids on the muscle cells of strength-trained athletes
Article Abstract:
Research was conducted to understand the physiological effects of anabolic steroids on the muscle fibers. Results show that using anabolic steroids along with strength-training leads to the formation of new muscle fibers and increases muscle size by incorporating activated satellite cells into preexisting fibers.
