Effects of caffeine ingestion on exercise testing: A meta-analysis
Article Abstract:
The purpose of this meta-analysis was to quantify the effects of oral caffeine ingestion on the relative change in test outcome and effect size across different exercise domains and test protocols. The results from meta-analysis confirmed the ergogenic effects of caffeine, particularly for endurance testing that use time-to-exhaustion protocols.
