Endurance training delays age of decline in leg strength and muscle morphology
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine the influence of long term endurance training and age on strength, and muscle morphology characteristics of the leg extensor muscles. The finding supports the maintenance of isokinetic leg extension strength, which is connected with chronic endurance training through the seventh decade of life.

Exercise training in women with heart disease: influence of hormone replacement therapy
Article Abstract:
An attempt is made to examine the central and peripheral cardiovascular effects of exercise training in postmenopausal women with CAD, and to compare them with Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). The study indicates that, the cardiovascular responses appear to be consistent regardless of the HRT status and other adaptations.
