Issues concerning turkey hunting are discussed. Particular attention is given to techniques of luring the turkey into the shotgun range, including avoiding obstruction such as gullies or creeks, using decoys, choosing the terrain, and finding out which type of call the turkey responds to.

Everlasting gobble-stoppers: things don't have to be complicated to go a long way, even where turkeys are concerned

A hunter describes his techniques to successfully hunt turkeys. He found the use of decoys to be quite effective, and was rewarded with his persistence in obtaining a turkey after calling it for two hours. He had previously realized he needed to aggressively call turkeys rather than use a timid one.
