Evidence-based practice in pediatric physical therapy
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning how evidence-based practice contributes to optimal care of children who need physical therapy are examined. Topics include the definition of evidence-based practice, its application to pediatric physical therapy, evidence-based research as it applies to neurodevelopmental treatment and muscular strength, and two case examples of using evidence-based practice.

Professional networks can be one of the physical therapist's most useful resources. Establishing a network begins with the effort to meet colleagues at professional conferences, seminars, and other events, then joining a local Chamber of Commerce, and creating a record or database with as much information as possible.
