Foot cooling reduces exercise-induced hypothermia in men with spinal cord injury
Article Abstract:
A study to test the hypotheses that exercise in a heated environment will increase tympanic temperature (TTY) more in individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI) than able-bodied individuals, and also that foot cooling using a new device, Rapid Thermal Exchange (RTX) will accelerate the rise in TTY during exercise in both groups is presented. Results of the experiment suggest that extraction of heat through the foot may provide an effective way to manipulate TTY in persons with SCI is discussed.

The impact of stretching on sports injury risk: a systematic view of the literature
Article Abstract:
A systematic review of literature and analytical studies to assess the evidence for the effectiveness of stretching as a tool to prevent injuries in sports and to make recommendations for future research and prevention is presented. Results of the studies, which show no sufficient evidence to endorse or discontinue routine pre- or post event stretching to prevent injury among competitive or recreational athletes, are also discussed.

Effect of gender and defensive opponent on the biomechanics of sidestep cutting
Article Abstract:
Effects of gender and defense player on entire lower extremity bio mechanics during sidestepping was studied. By considering the lower extremity, one can understand the injury mechanism which in turn leads to better training programs to prevent injury.
