Forward roll
Article Abstract:
If a player re-drops a ball after it lands in an unplayable position, and the ball rolls to a point nearer to the hole than where it hit the ground but not closer to the hole than it was in its original unplayable position, the player does not need to re-drop the ball. If the ball ends up closer to the hole than it was in its original position, then the player must re-drop the ball.
