Age is not a constraint in ocean travel. Cruising can be most exciting when the best opportunity that comes is seized. It can be after retirement, if couples are still healthy, or when children are still in their grade school. There is no appropriate age or time for as long as finances will allow.

Between whale tales
Article Abstract:
A sailing cruise across the Pacific Ocean from Mexico to French Polynesia aboard a 29-ft cutter is described. It was a peaceful voyage and the only excitement was a close encounter with sleeping whales.
