A toothache can be made worse by an airplane flight. If bacteria in the tooth are emitting gas, the gas may expand with the change of air pressure and result in greater pain. People undergoing root canals or those who have had recent extractions may also wish to avoid air travel.

Article Abstract:
Dental rinses, made from salt, hydrogen peroxide, or baking soda, can be a handy tooth-care procedure for campers, or for others who may not be able to brush regularly. The rinses can remove food particles and provide moisture for mouth tissues. Rinse formulas are presented.
