Article Abstract:
Brown trout in the rivers of Tierra del Fuego weigh an average of 7 to 11 pounds, although some weigh more than 20 pounds. The best times to catch trout in the Rio Grande and Rio Menendez are in the early morning, in the early evening and around 10 pm during January-March.

The Skeena River has plentiful populations of salmon, steelhead and other fish that provide great game for recreational fishers. But local commercial fisheries are depleting fish populations and ruining the sport.

A tool for all fishermen: a good pair of pliers is an angler's best friend

The ways in which fishing pliers can be used are discussed. Pliers are effective for tasks including debarbing hooks, removing hooks and cutting monofilament, copolymer and braided lines.
