How trout take a fly
Article Abstract:
Trouts take their food in through a complex series of valve like motions of surprising power and lethal efficiency contrary to the theory that it eats through a passive, flow-through exercise. The experienced trout regularly get their faces up close to the fly and lock it in place in front of them, as it drifts along and the trout continues to concentrate on the fly and keeps it at the end of its snout.

Snagged 'im Fair and Square
Article Abstract:
A unique technique of using sockeyes on a bare hook on the leader instead of a real fly is discussed and the question of fair-hooking the fishes is debated. It is understood that the disapproval of snagging a fish is a cultural act and through training a fisherman respects the ethical code, which rejects snagging.
