In memoriam: Freeman Pittman
Article Abstract:
SAIL Senior Editor Freeman Pittman died at the age of 44 from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig's disease, in late Jan. 1996. Courageous to the end, Pittman left behind his wife, Susan and two daughters, Rebecca and Molly, as well as his father, mother and three sisters.
