Installing an automatic bilgepump

Automatic bilgepumps can deal with water entering the bilge whether someone is aboard to pump or not, and is also a good backup to a manual system. A centrifugal pump is best for most boats, and the biggest pump that will fit into the bilge should be used. Instructions for installing and using such a pump are outlined.
