A long-time Cycle World magazine staff member laments that he can no longer try out all the test bikes which arrive at the office because of the distance between his Wisconsin home and California. Nevertheless, he occassionaly gets to test some new motorcycles. His views on the Yamaha V-Max and the 1994 Honda VFR750 are presented.

The Ducati 996 is a wonderful motorcycle to own because of its magnificent handling capabilities in winding roads and corners. The machine's superb handling could be traced to the numerous motorcycle competitions it was entered in for six years.
