Amistad is known as a freedom ship as it serves as a living memorial to all Africans who were sold into slavery in the new World and as a floating museum teaching the lessons inherent in the Amistad incident. John Kamara, an ambassador of the Amistad incident tells this story to visiting school children and church groups boarding the modern Amistad.

Article Abstract:
An office worker presents an account of his trip crewing on a tall ship. The culture of the society on board the boat was a microcosm of that on land. Being wet, seasickness, cramped bunks and others snoring all had to be coped with.

Coming of age on Lake Constance
Article Abstract:
A personal narrative of a father and son cruise on Lake Constance between Switzerland and Germany is presented. The journey brought back memories of a similar sailing trip to the lake in childhood.
