La Quinta Resort and Club is a historic resort, with five outstanding resort courses affiliated with it, including the new Greg Norman Course, which was unveiled in 1999. The resort, which was built in 1926, has served as a retreat for various Hollywood stars. The Royal Household Golf Club has two courses - one at Windsor Castle in London, England, and another at Balmoral in Scotland. It is open to members of the British Royal Family and to those who serve them. Prince Andrew, a 13-handicapper, is the only Royal who plays golf.
