Voyaging: A drogue above the rest

Preparation for heavy weather one needs equipment during extreme conditions and recent studies show that in big seas, a series of smaller drogues can be better than a single large one. The series drogue was deployed in many storms and in two hurricanes and its record was flawless as no boat has suffered any damage, no crewman was injured and the drogues were retrieved in like-new condition.
