Jeff Sluman holds the dubious distinction of being the only active golfer on the PGA Tour whose only career victory is a major, having won the 1988 PGA Championship. Despite the media's insistence on focusing on that aspect of his career, Sluman does not appear bothered by his inability to win again.

Golf in the homeland: the royal and ancient game is a different affair in Scotland than it is in America
Article Abstract:
Scottish golfers often bring their dogs along with them on a round. Their tournament fans are the most knowledgable in the world. Their country clubs are much more inclusive and democratic, except that women have separate drawing rooms and clubhouses. Other on-course eccentricities are analyzed.
