Mediating effects of peripheral vision in the Life Event Stress/athletic injury relationship
Article Abstract:
Life Event Stress (LES), psychosocial variables and peripheral vision in nonstressful (practice day) and stressful (game day) in sport situations were investigated. The findings show that peripheral narrowing between no-stress and stress situation significantly mediates a portion of the LES/injury relationship, and future researchers should continue to statistically test mediation effects and physiological changes occurring during stress
