The return of a shock therapy

The electro convulsive therapy (ECT) is used to treat share depression, mania and other serious mental disorders. According to American Psychiatric Association, ECT helps to overcome depression for 80 to 90 percent of people. The therapy can cause headache and confusion after the treatment and even memory loss subsequent for days and weeks.
