Tips are given on how noise aboard boats can be eliminated. Noise is a common problem on boats because the motors are located under the cabin sole or behind a bulkhead. They rotate slowly and this excites the natural vibration frequencies of the boat structure. Still, the main sources of noise on boats are the engine and drivetrain.
