The history of the two BC ski resorts is recounted, and the skiing conditions are highly praised. Among the amenities, Sun Peaks has three hotels and 100 condos. Hotel rooms are $120-$140 (Canadian). About 5,100 pillows-on-mountains in condos are available at Big White for about C$59-C$115.

Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains provide twin ski resorts with a village of shops and restaurants between them. The area offers 27 lifts, and all-day single mountain lift tickets cost $40. Transportation is available from Vancouver, which is 75 miles away.
