Oh: A Sportsman's guide to profanity
Article Abstract:
Profanity is as much a part of hunting and fishing as Vienna sausage and wet toilet paper and is a manifestation of the freedom afforded by the outdoors. It is suggested that profanity is not a sign of poor character as goof hunting and fishing profanity should be imaginative and applied sparingly, with creativity so that it makes conversation memorable.

An experienced deer hunter has learned that a powerful gun is not necessary for killing a mule deer or whitetail. It is shooting technique that counts, and a lightweight rifle such as the .30/30 or .35 is the most popular. Cartridges are also discussed.

A comparative study of the original wooden stocked rifles and the modern synthetic stocked rifles is presented. They are compared based on three most important factors in a stock--strength, stability, and weight.
